First time renting and I had to go through four 16ft reefer trucks in one week because they all had issues. I had go to multiple locations each time because they are not readily available. Giving two stars only because there are certain individuals at Ryder try to provide support for their trucks which are not maintained. There are also staff that are not very helpful - Go with miller or Idealease if you are in the NJ area.
I called looking for a hitch trailer. My sister is moving and I am doing the leg work for her. I called and got a young man on the phone (dont remember his name). I ask for the trailer and he bluntly tells me they dont have them. I ask if he can give me a referral and he says, "no, Ryder doesn't have those". No warm and fuzzy. No thank you. I work in an industry that I often have to give referrals to others and I can attest that when I do help my clients, they always come back because of the level of customer service provided. Needless to say, I won't be calling back for any future needs.
