They need a new way to let employees loosen up. Jeeze. I know its important vital personal info they throw around but danm crack a joke or 2. Lighten up government no one wonder most of those guys/girls go postal and have 0 personality
The workers I interacted with were kind enough, but the SSA and its processes are the worst. Evidently the system is that you walk in and get a ticket, and soon after, you speak to someone. Unfortunately this speaking to someone is just to get you into the system, at this point you go back out to wait. And wait. And wait. Evidently those with appointments are taken before you (makes sense), BUT, there's no way to schedule an appointment online, only by phone. When you call, the system just says "no agents are available to take your call" and hangs up on you. If a private business were to do this, they'd go out of business in a month. Because the SSA, with the implied force of the federal government, has already forcibly stolen your money, you are forced to deal with their extreme incompetence. Defund this agency already and return the money back to the people that earned it.
Terrible attitudes from workers. Rude behavior, and no accountability.
When it comes to the Social Security Administration, it can be summed up with: you might get someone kind, with a heart, who's willing to treat you humanely, but, with the agents at the local office, it's a gamble and, at this office, it's even more so.
