My mother and I was there recently and the service since the beginning to end was excellent. We were both attended quickly, with care, and ease by the team. Dr. Akosa was very attentive, professional, and cared about our needs. Definitely going back and highly recommend
Only downside is once i'm done with college have to go back to my home in another state and get another dentist.
Fortunately, I found the Rutgers Faculty Practice. In so many instances I have been favorably impressed, from the time and effort spent in making sure of the correct diagnosis, the unselfish sharing of the facts of my case amongst the general dentists and specialists to ensure that the best treatment plan was arrived at, the skill and artistry of the dentists providing my treatment, the professionalism of the staff, as well as the friendly, caring and courteous service displayed by the dentists and each and every staff member.
I highly recommend the faculty practice at Rutgers in New Brunswick.
Bad experience - I was given false information about insurance coverage when I initially scheduled my appointment. I then received a bill in the mail a few months later. When I called to inquire about the bill, I was told that the dentist does not even accept insurance. Also, I was told that they documented my chart with different information than what I was given initially. The finance manager was pleasant and the dentist appeared knowledgeable, but the fact that I was told false information will prevent me from making any future appointments.
The staff from all the visits i have had are all welcoming and easy to get along with as well.
Furthermore, knowing that each dentist in this practice is on faculty at Rutgers Dental School, an institution of renowned excellence and staffed by some of the world’s best educators, and that the dental facility was just recently constructed, has assured me that I will be receiving the most up-to-date care by dentists that I can trust in the most modern, state-of -the-art facility.
Although, I only know of one actual dentist there she does work quick and effectively. It took her an average of about half an hour to remove cavities and fix them as well.
I also was given false information about my dental insurance. I hadecided great faith in the dentist and surgeon, but the staff out front definitely have an attitude. Parking is very far away. Be prepared to wait.
As a retired dentist who wound up relocating to New Jersey, I was faced with selecting a new dental care provider for myself, especially after some recent medical treatment left me with several severe and complex dental problems. Knowing as an insider that not all dentists are created equal, I thoroughly investigated my options to find someone who I felt maintained an uncompromising philosophy of excellence and possessed the surgical expertise to handle the multifaceted areas of dental disease for which I needed treatment.
In fact they were better than my typical dentist that i went to before Rutgers and made me realize i could do better, and found another dentist to go to once i leave Rutgers
Came to Rutgers for school but never had a dental issue till sophomore year. Was skeptical at first, but after the second visit was confident they were great.
